Current Needs
Our Early Childhood Center at St. Paul Lutheran Church needs volunteers to help out with our lunch hour (3rd floor Fellowship Hall) from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Extra hands make things go so much more smoothly. Please call ECC Director Linda Petersen at 224-1939.

Also, our Elementary School at 720 Burkhardt Ave. needs classroom aides for its 1st and 3rd grade classrooms. If you would enjoy this volunteer opportunity, call Principal Joy Marts at 253-1786.

Student Related

• Academic tutoring - reading and/or math, any grade level
• Classroom aide - any grade level
• Assist with noon lunch program: help warm/serve pre-packaged meals; assist with lunchroom supervision
• Assist with noon recess period
• Assist periodically with special office administrative tasks - on an as required basis
• Serve on a periodic basis as a "Visiting Professor" giving academic presentations on specific subjects of personal interest/expertise - any grade level
• Provide transportation for student fieldtrips or choir performances
• Provide a service not listed, but one which you feel the students may benefit

Administratively Related

• Serve on school's Board of Trustees' subcommittees:
  • Marketing/public relations/student recruitment
  • Finance - budgeting oversight
  • Development: Committee - Special projects, grant writing, consulting/advisory Office - Assist with mailings, collating, telephoning, etc.
